Business owner, father, Rotarian, keep him busy when he isn't playing. Watch for the 8 string and 12 string basses. Who says guitar players should have all the fun. Kevin Ward Vocals
Kevin started singing in bands in his early 20's at the behest of co-worker Stewart Angleton, who had a band and convinced him to come out and try. The wrote his first song at the first rehearsal and he was hooked. He went on to write original music in his next two bands, Checkmate and Fastlane. Leaving music for a short time to raise a family, he was drawn back into it at the age of 33 when he joined the cover band, Kick Back City, where he met Bass Player, Dave "Rocket" Meisinger. They formed a close bond and started Point 08And Rising, which became Mercury Rising. For eight years they stunned audiences with their musicianship and vocal harmonies. A few years and a few cover bands later, Kevin was asked to join Who's Next by Bassist Joe Cuttone, who he met during a short stint with the local cover band, Person To Person. Kevin brings vocals to life, recreating the original tones to convince you, you're listening to the original artist. A fan of all music, he's grateful for his life and thankful to be a part of this project and the music community.
